playing games like far cry/call of duty on linux mandrake 10???

hi there im a noob at linux, and was wondering if it was at all possible to play games like far cry, call of duty etc on linux mandrake 10.

i am going to be running a dual boot system with windows xp pro.
with a ati radeon 9800 pro aiw card

could anybody tell me if this is possible?

or has anybody came into problems and found a way to fix them?

Also, get the latest drivers for your graphics card.

Many games nowadays come with a Linux version as well (UT2003 and UT2004) and many games have special mods that allow them (windows-based) to be run in Linux (i.e. Quake). You may want to check that out (Sorry, not sure about Call of Duty). As a third option, Wine comes to the rescue!
Also, like the above poster mentioned, be sure to download the latest Linux driver for your ATI card! I have an ATI 9100 and just finished installing the driver: WOW! OpenGL rocks now! (I also am using Mandrake 10.0)

I have downloaded Wine, and when im downloading a game with two CD's, I can't figure out how to get it to read the 2nd CD. Im useing Linux mandrake 10.0. Does any one know how to get this to work???????? Thanks

you have to mount it
