I want to be able to play background music with firefox, but it says missing a plugin, and no suitable plugins are found.
The background music is done using <embeded src="....mp3">.
The embedded tag is not W3C compliant; hence, implementing it's not recommended. To keep compliant with W3C standards I used a one of the free Flash MP3 player to implement background music. For example:
