Playing avseq.dat file
 
I have installed suse 9.2 linux version. Now I am not able play avseq.dat file in vcd/dvd format.

Is this an image file of a DVD? Look at "file avseq.dat" to learn more about this file. Xine may be able to play it directly, or if it is an ISO6990 image, you can mount it and play the files inside.

If the file program says that it is an MPEG1 file, then simply rename the file so the extension is .mpg.
