playback of mp3 files and video editing
 

Hi there I am a newbie to linux have switched for windows on a Mecer laptop
I have a prob with playing mp3 files as well as video files and need to find out what I need to download to enable me to play any msuic of video file
Also is there any videoediting programs that is compatible with linux

You're likely missing codecs. What version of Linux are you running?
