pidgin login
 
I have yahoo id with domain yahoo.co.in, I am unable to login in pidgin. Have anyone tried this ?

The domain shouldn't stop you from logging in with pidgin. Do you have any further info or error messages?

Yes its giving the following error:

PHP Code:
Error 1013: The username you have entered is invalid.  The most common cause of this error is entering your email address instead of your Yahoo! ID.

yeah.. i had the same problem. Just updating pidgin should be all u need to do. You may need to resolve
few minor problems like the one u mentioned above. Tell me if u need the settings.

Are you sure you are only using your Yahoo ID and not your Yahoo email address?

Ohh, wow, I just did it. It just said enter the yahoo ID . So I entered myid@yahoo.co.in as I thought it would not take yahoo.co.in .

Now I entered only myid and not the domain and it worked successfully.
