Pidgin error, XMMS account says "Not authorized"

I changed my gmail account password yesterday

Today when I tried to log in from pidgin I got this error:

myemailid@gmail.com/Home disabled
Not Authorized

Two options were given:

Modify Account and Re-enable

By trying re-enable,I got this same error again n again

Could someone please tell me what is wrong??

Have u tried to enter in normal "gmail application" other than pidgin , if that works , then problem lies in pidgin , else ur authorisation has been tampered ..

Did you enter your new password in Pidgin's settings? You should select Modify and enter your new password into your account ID within Pidgin if you haven't already done so.

Same here

I am having the same issue and I have not changed my password. I am suspecting that GoogleTalk has changed something. Kind of like how AIM used to try to block other apps from using their service.
