Pidgin configuration


HI, I AM A NEWBIE IN LINUX. I AM USING OPENSUSE 11.0. I WANT TO CONFIGURE PIDGIN FOR gtalk. I HAVE SET THE FOLLOWING THINGS,


Basic

Protocol: XMPP
Screenname: biplabbijay2009
DomainName: gmail.com
Resource: Home

Advanced

Require SSL/TLS: checkbox left blanck
Force old(port 5223) SSL: checkbox left blanck
Allow plaintext auth over unencrypted streams: checkbox left blanck
Use GASSAPI (Kerberos v5) for authentication: checkbox tick marked
connect port: 5222
Connect server: talk.google.com
file transfer proxies: proxy,jabber.org:7777

proxy type: use GNOME proxy settings
THEN SAVE.

BUT IAM GETTING THE ERROR MESSAGE :

"
Could not establish a connection with server:
Temporary faliure in name resolution"
CAN ANYBODY HELP ME TO FIX THIS PROBLEM ? TAHNX IN ADVANCE.

Try to use no proxy
also, can you surf ?
