PHP5 binary with enable-sockets

I need to run a php daemon for my camera security system. One of the requirments to run this is a Unix machine with PHP 5.12 (and above) installed. PHP has to have socket functions enabled (enable-socket flag). The problem is that I'm not into compiling and configuring whole system from scratch. So my question is: Is there any linux distribution which I can easily get the binary package of php5.12 (or newer) with enable-sockets for? Thank you very much!!

There probably is such a distro but why not get into the challenge and compile php your self. It's not that hard. If you have a farly normal installation of your distro there should be make and gcc and g++ already installed. Also ssl and some other things you need for php. I have done a php compile this week so if you need any help I'd be glad to help. If you run into an error of missing libs or alike just install the devel packet of the missing part. See the INSTALL file for step by step procedure.

If you don't want to go for the challenge check on LAMP. This is L(inux)A(pache)M(ySQL)P(HP). Can be found as a complete distro or just as an addon.
