PHP not working for Media Wiki? Ubuntu 10.10 server.
I have been working on a Media Wiki site on my local network. When I open the index.php file from my Wiki's main directory, Firefox thinks I want to download the file and opens a download popup window like it would for a picture or MP3. I have CakePHP installed on the server.
When I go to the index.php of a Media Wiki powered site I go to often, the .php file works perfectly. Do I need to configure something somewhere? I haven't restarted the server since I installed CakePHP, so it may be as simple as that. |
I restarted the server. Going to the wiki's directory just shows a list of files, and clicking index.php brings up a bunch of text that looks vaguely like programming code.
I have ./INSTALL up on my server, and it has some interesting instructions. I'm beginning to think I need to look into configuring Apache. I just installed it and forgot about it. :study: |
