Php compilation Error


I have compiled php 5 on my centos machine. But when i start apache service i am gettin g an error

"Syntax error on line 62 of /lamp/httpd/conf/httpd.conf: Cannot load /user/local/httpd/modules/libphp5.so into server: libmysqlclient.so.18: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"

But i do have a libphp5.so file in above location...........Please help me

But do you have libmysqlclient? That's the one it's complaining about it would appear.
