Persistent on Linux query


I am downloading Makululinux winlows, I wish to use it live
on a 16gb usb. Is it set for Persistence I cant see if it is installed. I would be very please if somebody has knowledge of this.

Well; hardware specs would be useful, for one thing. Knowing these, it will allow us to suggest distros based on your hardware....or lack of.

A reasonably high-spec modern machine will be able to run current mainstream distros in the manner you want, far easier than an elderly, low-spec machine. For such as these, you will need to be looking at something far more lightweight.

Please let us have your hardware specs (at minimum, CPU, amount & type of RAM, size & type of hard drive, graphics card (or chip) in use.....that kind of thing).

Thanks for the reply Mike.
My main laptop that I would for Live usb is Dell Inspiron 15 5000 series i5 525gb ssd 8gb ramall 6 months old.
Other is Toshiba satalite i5 with 250gb ssd 8gb ram, both have ample graphics would use this also for live usb.
Plenty of Linux to choose from, I like the idea of Presistance so your help in looking for me would be much appreciated.
