perl script to install a software

i am trying to install a software on windows using a perl script

i have knowledge of perl...how do i start writing it ??

if you have no knowledge of perl, then you need to learn perl. that's how you start. OR you ask why on earth you'd decide to use perl on windows in the first place. why not use wscript etc..?
