performance of delayed allocation

Hi,
in delayed allocation, modified data is hold in cache till memory pressure. but as modified data grows, free space will decrease so amount of space for further processes will be less. how will it affect system performance? will there be less speed of processing or any other adverse effect?

thank you in advance.

Let me guess.
To accomodate more processes and if pages can't be held in memory more swapout will occur?
Have I won anything yet or do I need to buy another ticket?

Wouldn't that depend on a shoal of parameters?
