My pen drive is not recognized by fedora 8 give some way
Give some way for what? You don't provide any information about your hardware, what error(s) you're getting, or anything else. What have you done and tried so far? Or did you just plug it in and wait, then post here?
Try downloading and install the linux drivers for your usb drive.
If your doing this through command line, then try mounting the usb drive...
Uhhh....he probably doesn't need to download and install any 'drivers'...that's a Windows thing.
Linux has USB storage support. Unless he's got a very exotic type of USB drive, it's probably auto-recognized and either auto-mounted, or ready to be mounted.
