Peanut?

Am I a complete idiot? I tried doing the boot CD install, I get pretty far along, (just past keyboard selection etc) then it goes to copy the files, and says 'cannot create directory' for every single file until it makes an error.
(this is after making a peanut compatible partition..)
Have I just got a bad disc? Me = Confused.

It's be great if you gave the problem and how you overcame it - then this posting might be useful to someone else!

argh. I hate hotmail and it's stupid 'You are browsing a site out of hotmail' banner.

Anyway, I didn't know I had to make a linux swap partition. I only realised when it popped up somewhere in the install. . I made a 128 meg partition, and the install went almost perfectly. (as I'm stuck in Enlightenment. The peanut site www.ibiblio.org/peanut says it comes with KDE, or am I mistaken and it comes with support for KDE? )
