pdf file select lag on dolphin

I use KDE Dolphin to move pdf file to another folder. When I click on it Dolphin stop responding for a minute. Is there any option to disable or not to preview the file or else? I am annoyed when have to wait so long time just to select a file.

Edit: The file is not big 7.9MiB

Remember one thing, dolphin has bugs.

The extension that you are using for the dolphin matters the slow or fastness of the pdf documents viewing.
which pdf reader you are using ? okular ? kghostview ? Kpdf ? Acrobat Reader ?

change the pdf services preference order to the fast pdf reader. Acrobat reader was too much slow for me.

I used okular before and now I am using acrobat. It is quick enough in showing pdfs. The problem is only when I select this pdf.

Even when the cursor goes over it and system stop for a minute.

I uncheck "Use tumbnails embedded in files" and reduce "Maximum file size" to minimum(1Mb) in File previews section in Dolphin settings. It has some improvement, but not significant.
