PCMCIA Network Interface Card!?

Hi, I'm new to Linux and I'm trying to set up an internet connection to be able to download the packages that I need.

I used linux 4 years back and was only a newbie back then, and haven't used it since then, so I'm even a bigger newbie now. And then I was dealing with a regular Ethernet NIC, now we only have a wireless connection and I don't how to set that up. And an even bigger problem is that I don't know what kind of NIC that I have, it's har even to find drivers for it in Windows.

NIC:
Front:
EDUP, 54Mbps/11Mbps, Wireless lan card, IEEE802.11b/g
Back:
802.11 b/g Wireless LAN CARD
Model No.: CT-CB54G2 3.3V
DSSS at 2.4GHz ISM band
OFDM at 2.4GHz ISM band
SN: MS-6835B0501080481
Thanks.
Martin.

If you have the Windows driver files you can use ndiswrapper to use that.

Can you do an
lspci and copy and paste the output, and then
insert the card and do the same thing, and post
both results here?

Cheers,
Tink
