PC Speaker driver for Slackware 2.4.18
 

Hi all,
has anyone got to install a "PC speaker drive" in Slackware 8.1 (kernel 2.4.18)?

I tried, but without success until now.

I´d like to listen music (midi, wav, ...) without a soundcard, just through the internal speaker.

Very, very, very old. Please upgrade.

That is impossible to do on a PC, regardless of operating system. The hardware just doesn't function that way.

I know Slackware 8.1 is now an obsolete version,
and I'm planning to upgrade it,
but the question seems to be the opposite, i.e.,
I've got the stuff for Linux 1.x.x, and <Linux 2.0.x,
and I cann't find a solution for 2.4.18.

I'm just talking about this:
