pb whith videocard or screen


Hello,
I have installed Mandrake 9.1 and X server doesn't work.
I can only loggin whith text mode.
I have :
Abit NF7
AMD Athlon XP 2600
Video card : Trident TGUI 9660
VideoScreen : AG Neovo F15

I don't know if I have problem whith the videoCard or the screen.

I'll put in the next thread the error message of XFree86.

Can you post the error message and your /etx/X11/XF86Config-4 file?

I always got that error when my video card wasn't configured properly. However I'm not familiair with your card and in your config file nothing really jumps out that seems wrong now. Maybe somebody else uses the same card. Maybe you can search with google on XF86Config-4 and your videocard to see if their part under Device1 is the same.

Hello,
I left the videoCard Trident it does not work
I have a Mtrox G400 now and it work.
