I'm new to linux red hat 9 users.
I have a urgent question as follow:

Where do I find the patched kernel (vmlinuz-2.4.20-8-ide) and how can I install it.
I have linux red hat 9.0.

Best Regards,

Moved: This thread is more suitable in Linux-Newbie and has been moved accordingly to help your thread/question get the exposure it deserves.

I would highly recommend a full update to recent RedHat or Fedora. There were really many changes since RH9 in nearly all programs you have installed that it is really worth the change.
