patch for different kernel version

hi,
I'm trying to compile the kernel-2.6.18 with support for LZMA and squashfs.
The patch I got squashfs.lzma.patch-3.1 refers in the header to kernel-2.6.15 and when I apply it, it asks for file to patch.
Which file should I put there or, simply, I need to get a patch for the kernel-2.6.18?

That patch will only work perfectly with 2.6.15, the version of the kernel it was designed to modify. You either need to use the 2.6.15 sources with that patch, or find out if a 2.6.18 patch is out/in the works. It is also possible that the patch is no longer needed, they may have gotten the things the patch accomplishes into the kernel itself.

Peace,
JimBass

I checked the changelog for the kernel-2.6.18 to 2.18.3 and doesnt seem like they added support for squashfs and LZMA.
I have googled around but all the patches seems to refer to the older kernel.
However some systems, like puppy linux or slax, have a 2.6.18 kernel patched for LZMA-for-squashfs so it must be out there.
if anyone knows a link to this patch it will be really appreciated.
