password after first install?


I just installed suse 10...had some problems installing but finally got it to work now it's asking me to login and i really dont remember it asking me to set a username name and anyone know what the default login/pass is?

There is no default ID/PW. If it's asking you to "set a username and password" then I'll assume you're trying to create a regular user account ("adduser") If so, then just choose an ID and PW you can remember.

If you're being asked to input an ID/PW in order to log in, and can't recall your ID/PW, you can temporarily log in as root and manually reset your password. Good luck with it

try : root/root, admin/root

then open ur user with useradd
