Partitioning Secondary HD

I'm trying to partition a secondary hard drive with the ReiserFS. It asks me where i want to mount it to and i let it stay at the default location (usr/). I then get a message saying something to the effect of "files found on usr/" and it gives me an option to move them to the new partition or hide them. Should i change the directory it's tring to mount to to someting like "/mnt/hdb" instead?

Yes, change the mount point, you do not want to mount to /usr.
The directory name can be anything you want and mounting it in /mnt is a good adea.

I agree with michaelk, but I'm not sure if you're asking a mounting question or a partitioning question. If you need to partition the second drive, you can run: cfdisk /dev/hdb (assuming that your new drive is the primary slave, or /dev/hdc or /dev/hdd if it's the secondary master or slave respectively) -- J.W.
