Partitioning question
Hi, everyone. Before I install Red Hat Linux, I want to be absolutely prepaired. So, I have a question. I have a 30 GB hard drive that I am going to install Red Hat Linux 6.1 on. My question is:
What kind of partitions should I make? some people think that you should only have a swap, /boot, and a / (root) partition, but I have seen several other ones, such as /usr, ect. Any help is appreciated. *****Colonel Panic***** |
