Partitioning

Ok I've got a 250GB SATA HDD 7200RPM w/ 8mb cache and I want to partition about 25 gigs for Fedora Core 4 (If I need more, please tell me!) I am running WindowsXP Home

I doubt you'll need that big a partition for FC4, something like 8GB is fine. then make another partition to put your music, movies, personal stuff on. Thats what I think.
By the way DO NOT MESS WITH THE WINDBLOZE XP PARTITION, creates problems.
Hope that helps!

Depending on how much you think you use for your home directory 25 gig can be fine. I don't know how many gigs fc4 takes but I reckon it will be a few like between 5-10 or so? So if you're ok with 10-15 GB personal files it'll be ok. You might want to use a bit more if you're not sure and have room to spare but it entirely depends on how much space you need for yourself.

So I should have a seperate partition for /home and all those things?

How exactly can I partition this? I have tried but I always get an error at the last moment.
