partition tables: whats the diff b/w bsd, dvh, etc?
 
While installing Debian Core, i'm asked to select a partition table. I have no idea what they are or what the difference between them is. Any info most appreciated. Thanks.

Take a look at the directions and follow them

I think they want you to specify a Partition TYPE---eg EXT2, EXT3. Or a partition LOCATION--eg on drive 1, drive 2, etc.

For more help give us your hardware configuration--esp. number and size of drives, do you have Windows installed, etc.
