partition table restore
 
hi all this is my first post on this forum xD

Do i have any chances to restore my windows partition table after tried to install debian and i used the entire disk instead of the free space i had alocated for this

after i figured out what i did i stoped the installation but was to late ... i answered yes at write partition table changes on disk question


i tried win7 automate recovery tool from dvd and manual install of mbr with no successful result

I think it really is too late. Your former Windows partition has been over-written.
You could have restored the partition by using a partition editor to re-enter the exact start and finish cylinder values you had before you started the installation, but this will only work if you have not yet written anything to the disk, or formatted anything.

If it's a laptop you should have hidden recovery partition if original wins install.

Problem solved.

i booted a light linux from usb and deleted linux partition table with gparted after i used automatic recovery tool from win7 dvd to restore win partion table and then intaled a fresh windows without format disks

it worked as hell 10x all
