Pardus or Mandriva? Which one implements KDE the best?

Hi guys,

I've been using Linux for a few years now, I'm not a pro and still consider myself a newbie. I've been distro hopping to find the perfect distro for me, after looking around I've settled for Mandriva 2010. It's not a bad distro. But after just one month of using it, I need a change.

How is Pardus compared to Mandriva? Is it a solid distro, how well does it implement KDE4?

I'm going to be using my computer for your basic tasks such as browsing the web, email, videos, music etc.

How does Pardus stack up against Mandriva? I plan on switching to Pardus over the weekend, but I would like some input from the community.

The best thing is to just give it a try for a while and see if you like it. It's a perfectly solid distro. Just be aware that being out of the mainstream, finding support will probably be more difficult than for Mandriva and I imagine their repositories are not as large as Mandriva's.

If you're a KDE fan, you might also be interested in the Chakra Project.
