Page replacement question

Hey folks,

I'm currently working on a project about the page replacement algorithms found in operating systems. I was wondering if anybody here knows where exactly in the kernel I could find whatever page replacement algorithm is in use? I know it's not wise to mess with something like that, but I don't have any issues doing so because I can afford to reformat-reinstall the distribution if need be. Thanks for your time.

Cheers,
Vincent
