Red face Package kit error - comp categories could not be loaded

When I open the add/remove software GUI interface and click on one of the categories it returns the error.
The group could not be loaded. Refreshing your cache may help although this is normally a software source error.
the more details give me, comp categories could not be loaded.
This is using Fedora 9, KDE desktop.

Can you help?

Thank you

I had the same problem and it was fixed by going from the add/remove software box > system > refresh package lists. After it ran a download, all of the installed and available packages showed up.

Hope this helps. I'm trying to muddle through this myself...

just use yum in the terminal
Package kit at this time is more hassle than it is worth
or install " yumex "
