Package installed by user

I m using FC 3. Usually FC3 has a package manager inbuild. But this only deals with the package which are shipped with distro.

I want to know, how can i know that how many and where, extra package are installed on my machine (Downloaded from net / from non distro sources)

The question arises because i installed some of multimedia packages and now i want to delete/uninstall them. But i forgot the original file names.

So a little help is required.
