Package for HP Photosmart 7260 - Ubuntu 7.04

I'm trying to find the right package for my hp photosmart 7260 printer but i don't know the name of the package and i can't seem to find the right one in synaptic. I did install ubuntu from the server dist with the apt-get so i only have the package that i need and not the basic printers installed with the desktop version. What package will make me able to print out pages with my photosmart printer?

I think your printer should work if you just install cups (Common Unix Printing System). Or have you tried already?

Hello Irajas!
To get your Photosmart work, you will need to install the following packages: cupsys with dependencies, hplip, hplip-data, hplip-ppds. Maybe foomatic-db-hpijs and hpijs will be needed too. My PhotoSmart printer works with these installed :) ...
With HPLIP installed, you will be able to use your printers special abilities, like on mine, for example the memory card reader, the ink level meter, etc. These functions will be accessible through HPLIP toolbox, which is part of hplip packages, so you don't need to search for it.
