Owner of file /tmp/.ICE-unix in Kde Gui (Redhat9)

Hi

each time I "startx" I notice that in tty1 (after writing 'startx' I press ctrl-Atl-F1 to see all the messages that appear) the following message displays:

mcop warning: user defined signal handler found for SIG_PIPE, overriding _IceTransmkdir: Owner of /tmp/.ICE-unix should be set to root

What I do in Kde after all starts up, is open a Konsole terminal window and from there I set manually that file to root ownership, like this:
su
*********
chown root /tmp/.ICE-unix

Everything runs fine, but, as a curious person, I wonder: is this normal? I'm ot worried with this, but..... does it just happen to me?
