Overburning an iso

i dont know what to do in the command thing.. here is the path

file:/home/elias/.wine/drive_c/longhorn.iso

its 733.7 mb and i'm burning on a 700 mb cd.. also when i extract the files from the iso it gets 132.9mb.. and i've hear that 700mb cd's have 733mb hidden or something

and my cd burner name

Memorex 48MAXX 1248AJ

can anyone make a command line out of this wich i can paste into the terminal thing?

use cdrecord. Read its info/man page and your set, all you have to do is tell it what device to use, and what file to burn, and thats it.

If your running KDE you may want to try "K3B" burning software. I have not tried overburning on it but it has the option.

Settings -> Configure K3B -> Advanced tab -> check Allow Overburning.

sry but i dont understand the info thing.. and k3b doesnt work for me.. when i type k3b in the command line it says,"k3b could not run the specified command!" it is installed.. when i run the rpm file it says that its alleready installed

anyway.. "cdrecord -overburn Memorex 48MAXX 1248AJ home/elias/.wine/drive_c/longhorn.iso"
is this right?

i think its more like

Code:
cdrecord -overburn -dev=/dev/CDBURNER ~/.wine/drive_c/longhorn.iso
replace CDBURNER with the device name of the cdburner device.
