Talking os switching utility


hi every body
does any body know about a utility or a app prg that would allow me to switch between different os
like normal windoows on screen..
ie in a dua booting machine having windows and linux can i run linux and from within liinux start my windows os and work on them simoltaneously...
is this thing possilble..
