Order to install Ubuntu, VMWare and MS Server 2003

Can someone explain the order I would install Linux(Ubuntu), Server 2003 and VMWare? I'm learning Linux and VMWare on my own and just need a bit of direction and any tips would be great!

I would suggest installing the Windows version of VmWare Player and running linux in there, perhaps on an OS that you are familiar with like XP. Try installing XP, VmWare and Ubuntu in a virtual machine and when you get a bit familiar with it install it on your computer. There are also some LiveCD distros which you can learn on.
