Thumbs up OracleStudio12.3 and Red Hat 6.6

I have installed OracleStudio 12.3 on Red Hat 6.2. The installation went fine. I then installed gcc and that went fine as well. I then took a working small C++ application (tested on Bloodshed Dev C++) and loaded it on to OS12.3 and most of my code is underlined in Dark Red.

I then downloaded GCC-4.7.0 because I believe it is needed. I unpacked the TAR and that went fine. I can not find a way to install the GCC.

Please help - Regards;

Tom Michlik

The GCC compiler is most likely on the installation DVD. You can try to install it with "yum install gcc". Since you're using both OracleStudio and RHEL (both of which are PAY FOR, commercial products), you are paying for support from both Oracle and Red Hat...have you called either of them?
