Oracle 12c installation for linux error

Hello guys help needed...

was installing oracle 12c
when typing this command i encountered an error
su - oradb
su: warning: cannot change directory to /home/oradb: Permission denied
-bash: /home/oradb/.bash_profile: Permission denied

Check/post: ls -ld /home/oradb

Hmmmm... Sorry, it wasn't as simple as my 1st guess!!! Try /home
like this possibility (see #4): http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...denied-842984/

IF the x, meaning search for directories, is missing on /home, I wonder how it got that way
