We will suggest you look in the Oracle forums first, and read the log file, as the installer is TELLING you to. Did you?

The listener isn't running...you need to start it. Since you were "neglecting" (???) some of the steps, did you also realize that Oracle isn't supported on Ubuntu?? There are guides on how to get it working...did you follow the Oracle installation steps in the install documentation, or try to look up a guide on getting Oracle working on Ubuntu?

NOT FREE, and since you're paying for it, you are also paying for access to support.
