ORA-24123: unable to attach to shared memory segment


Hi dear all

I am new user in linux and trying to install oracle 9i i am facing the problem i.e. "ORA-24123: unable to attach to shared memory segment" what i will have to do now.

Plz help me!

I assume you mean 27123, not 24123. That error message doesn't turn up anything useful in google searches. Can you tell us what procedure you're following and what point you got to please?
