opinions on linux remote desktop

just want to ask for everyone's opinion on
remote desktop operation :

which to use for

linux to linux - easiest to setup

win xp to linux - easiest to setup

linux to win xp - easiest to setup

linux to linux - best app

win xp to linux - best app

linux to win xp - best app

and .. preferably using ssh

VNC will work for all those instances. There are various flavors of VNC, RealVNC, TightVNC, etc.. .

grdestop or tsclient will work from Linux to Windows using the native rdesktop protocol in Windows.
