Opera not loading with user just root.
I d/l the Opera 7.11 static RPM from the web site. I ran it in user but it asked me to give the root pw. It installed and I could use it. Then I signed out and came back in, and now it won't open or load anything in user. I go to root and it opens fine. I went into console and logged in as a user and typed #opera. I get a message
Opera binary is not located at usr/bin/opera/7.11-20030515.1/opera
Please modify the wrapper script at usr/bin/opera
Since I'm a complete n00b to linux again could someone plx tell me how to do this. I am running RH9 with Gnome. And am I right that it is installed and that the user accounts just are trying to load Opera from the wrong location? Thanks for the help.

Make sure the normel user owns it (has ownership), I know that happened to me with Mozilla & that worked.

to change the ownership you do something like this, become root and,
chown username name_of_ the_file

Ok. So what dir or does it matter do I do this in. When in root I get a message:
[root@localhost root]# chown kos opera
chown: failed to get attributes of `opera': No such file or directory
[root@localhost root]#
kos is the user. What do I have to do. I let opera install into it's default dir so where should I be? Thanks again for you help.
