Question Opensuse 42.3 Leap : flash dosent work?


Error message either install flash or H.264 decoder to support player.

What dos this mean?

Youtube do work great

Dailymotion dosent either?

i think it's because it is firefox 52.4.1 ESR 64 bit - is it possible to the regular firefox on my suse distro?

Same error message waile im useing Opera?

Chromium won't load the video

Opensuse 42.3 Leap 64 bit.

Hi,

This error message means that some plugins are missing. You need the H264 plugin (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb...plugin-firefox). But I find it weird that it is not already installed on your system. I have 52.4.0 ESR and it was installed by default, as the webpage claims.

Try to see if it has been disabled, else try to install it manually.

Concerning Flashplayer, OpenSUSE does not distribute the package anymore, but you can still install it: https://en.opensuse.org/Adobe_Flash_Player

OpenH264 plugin is already installed so thats really weird ?
