Smile OpenSuse 11.0 not mounting

Hi guys,

I was out on vacation and I just came back to work and I noticed my backup server wasn't up. I have a OpenSuse 11.0 box which contains 2 drives (80GB - where the Distro is installed and 1TB - where data is stored)

# fdisk -l

Disk /dev/sda: 80.0 GB, 80000000000 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 9726 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes
Disk identifier: 0x41ab2316

Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/sda1 1 262 2104483+ 82 Linux swap / Solaris
/dev/sda2 * 263 2873 20972857+ 83 Linux
/dev/sda3 2874 9726 55046722+ 83 Linux

Disk /dev/sdb: 1000.2 GB, 1000204886016 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 121601 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes
Disk identifier: 0x93118309

Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/sdb1 1 121601 976760001 83 Linux

# df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/sda2 20G 4.5G 15G 24% /

any idea how to solve this issue? when I cd into the second drive there are no files in it. also my home folder is empty.

thanks in advance.

Hi,

I rebooted the server and hard drives errors came up. I'm running fsck to see if it fixes the issues.
