Unhappy OpenSUSE 10.2 installation help

I've used OpenSUSE live CD and now I'm trying to install it in my Dell Latitude D610. I've read the installation instruction but while partitioning, I encountered an error code -1012. It said: Failure occured during full action: Setting type of partition /dev/sdb6 to 82. When I rebooted it, it had the same problem, expect that setting changed to /dev/sdb7 to 82. I had my external harddrive when partitioning and it was about 120G, but now both the size of my internal and external harddrive changed. My internal was about 55 now to 27 and my external now to 47. Does anybody know how to make the size to the normal size? Esp for my external harddrive? How about the partitioning?
Please, help!

First post all of your partitions (internal and external hds). If you can get to terminal in Suse live run "cfdisk".
