I do not have CA.pl

I have installed

Hi,

If you want to just create a self-signed certificate, then you don't need CA.pl. You can take a look here to see how to create a self-signed certificate. CA.pl is used when you want to create a Certificate Authority.

Regards

As already mentioned, you don't need CA.pl to create self-signed certs.

But, for posterity's sake: CA.pl is included with the openssl-perl package. You probably didn't realize it's already there because it's not in your PATH.

Code:
$ locate CA.pl
/etc/pki/tls/misc/CA.pl
