Opensource equivalent of Tahoma in Windows


I want an open source equivalent of Tahoma in windows. Had been using windows fonts and now I am ditching it completely.

AFAIR, open office in Uubuntu uses to lucida sans serif when I open a file crerated in tahoma (in open office on windows).

If you don't have Lucida Sans, look at Liberation Sans, DejaVu Sans, or Nimbus Sans. They're all very similar, although Nimbus is a bit more Arial-like. In a large size, for display work, URW Gothic makes a change.

I got Kalimati font. That resembles tahoma.Thnx to both of you...
