OpenOffice 3.2.1 on Fedora 14
Hey guys, brand new to Linux. A friend of mine helped me wipe my laptop and recommended I install Fedora 14 as my new OS. Have to say, I am impressed with the performance of my computer thus far. I tried to install OpenOffice 3.2.1 today but I can't seem to find it any of the programs/run them. I downloaded the install file from the website and ran it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

did you install OpenOffice from the Fedora-repositories? You may open a terminal and execute the command Code:
soffice Code:
whereis soffice Please provide more information about the Windowmanager you're using. Did you restart at least the X-windowsystem after installing OpenOffice? Markus |
