OpenLdap newbie
HI
i would like to learn about openldap & i am new to it.
i have installed openldap, berkeley db & phpldapadmin, but dont know what to do next.
can anyone help me with some links to simple tutorials for new users.

Have a look at this easy to follow step by step guide at HowToForge. This one in particular is for Ubuntu but if you type OpenLDAP in the search box you get a lot more of the same guides.

Don't concentrate on openldap for rhel only, because rhel use older openldap version. You are easily understand ldap concepts on http://www.openldap.org/doc/
