Opening port 25565 - MC server

Hello guys,
So I have a descent internet connection and a linux server at my home, but I am having a little bit of trouble with the opening of port 25565.

The port is opened correctly in the router (With TPC and UDP) and the server has a static ip address.

So there must be something wrong with the iptables is my guess.

A little bit of information:

Code:
root@jitse-server-pc:/# netstat -ln |fgrep 25565
tcp6       0      0 192.168.2.5:25565       :::*                    LISTEN
root@jitse-server-pc:/# nmap localhost -p 25565

Starting Nmap 6.47 ( http://nmap.org ) at 2015-12-19 13:01 CET
Nmap scan report for localhost (127.0.0.1)
Host is up (0.00011s latency).
PORT STATE SERVICE
25565/tcp closed minecraft

Nmap done: 1 IP address (1 host up) scanned in 0.25 seconds
root@jitse-server-pc:/# nmap -p 25565 77.163.96.173

Starting Nmap 6.47 ( http://nmap.org ) at 2015-12-19 13:01 CET
Nmap scan report for ip4da360ad.direct-adsl.nl (77.163.96.173)
Host is up (0.00053s latency).
PORT STATE SERVICE
25565/tcp filtered minecraft

Nmap done: 1 IP address (1 host up) scanned in 0.49 seconds
root@jitse-server-pc:/# nmap -p 25565 -sU 77.163.96.173

Starting Nmap 6.47 ( http://nmap.org ) at 2015-12-19 13:01 CET
Nmap scan report for ip4da360ad.direct-adsl.nl (77.163.96.173)
Host is up (0.00047s latency).
PORT STATE SERVICE
25565/udp open|filtered unknown

Nmap done: 1 IP address (1 host up) scanned in 0.51 seconds

Based on your subject heading, the answer is obvious: you 'open a port' by actually running a service that LISTENS on that port. Or do you mean opening it on a firewall? Router? Switch? Something else??

Read the "Question Guidelines" link in my posting signature, and the LQ Rules, please.
